Dear Reader,
We welcome you cordially to visit our service.

Our Ad oculos Publishing Agency is run as family-owned publishing business. It was established in 1996.  This Latin name, Ad oculos means „to the eyes”, „in front of the eyes”, „(to see) with one’s own eyes”.

We specialize in publishing Polish poetry. Our bonds with the literature are 20 years old and we know publishing and booksellers’ market, including its „inside information”, well. Our Ad oculos Publishing Agency is flexible and swiftly acting, it enjoys cooperation with many companies.

We have high esteem for Poetry, and therefore we care very much for providing it a dignified setting.

At the beginning of our business activity, when still looking for own style,
we issued a book series called ‘Anthology of Polish Rock’, containing books about Hey, T.Love, Varius Manx and Illusion. In another series of books,  Anthology of ‘Disco Polo’ Music, we presented ensembles like Bayer Full, Boys, Mister Dex.

As far as poetry is concerned, we were focused on Polish classical poets: Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Jerzy Liebert, Adam Mickiewicz and others, as well as on contemporary authors, as Jan Twardowski, Jan Paweł II, among others.

We do not restrict our publishing to just the great personages. We also help  young, gifted debutants. Among others, we published a booklet of moving poetry of Dominika Chyc, titled: „Platonika”.

The editorial team at Ad oculos is made up of:

  • Ewa Krasnopolska,
  • Magdalena Żmuda,
  • Andrzej Żmuda,
  • Krzysztof Żmuda,

Our permanent cooperators are: Józef Ambrozowicz, Marcin Hydzik, Elżbieta Łubgan-Sołtyska, Ewa Michalik, Krzysztof Mordarski, Agnieszka and Marcin Pazdan, Marta Pelinko, Joanna Szczęśniak, Anna Tomaszek-Walczak.
